  • Implemented various types of machine learning models to perform motion recognition and activity tracking using sensor data
    • Developed solutions using fully-connected, convolution, and recurrent neural networks, as well as Gaussian mixture models and dynamic time warping
    • Implemented the feed-forward part of a convolution neural network in Objective-C for an iOS app, which loaded it’s weights from a deep-learning model built in Python using Keras on top of TensorFlow
  • Developed several iOS applications for multiple different clients, as well as one public application called Squat Off to do a simple demonstration of Kiwi’s motion recognition engine

iOS Campus Map Application

  • Worked with one other developer to create WatMapp, a map application for uWaterloo students to calculate the best routes between buildings, while having the option to take advantage of the bridges and tunnels to stay warm during the winter
  • Made use of Google's Material Design standards as well as graph theory (Dijkstra's algorithm)
  • Incorporated Google Analytics in order to track user activity
iOS Equation Solver Application

  • Developed System of Equations Solver, an iOS application that can solve a system of up to 6 equations
